Introduction
Space Duck is a DonationCoder.com game under development. It will be a psychedelic, crazy space shooter involving ... ducks and birds and silly creatures, including the DonationCoder.com mascot and his evil relatives from a parallel dimension.
You can follow development on this page. Alpha/beta downloads will be uploaded here as soon as development has progressed enough. There is also a screenshot section to see how progress is going.
If you're a geek, you can take a look at the doxygen generated API pages to see the class layout, etc.
If you want to help developing Space Duck, you can send me an email (gothic AT donationcoders DOT com) or drop in on one of the irc channels I frequent (on EFnet, #donationcoder, #bcb ; Nickname: Gothi[c]). I can always use people for anything. Even if it's just to come up with ideas, or you can help programming, help design graphics, or help out with the sound.
Space Duck will be highly customizable. You will be able to add weapons, ships, badguys, attack patterns for the badguys, powerups,... all by editing a simple xml file.

- Development will be on hold for a while because I am currently very busy on another (top-secret/mystery) project for
donationcoder.com. This is a rather long term project so it might take a while
before I work on Space Duck again, however, I do intend to finish it some day.
